There's nothing better than the ocean. I love so much about it:

the sound of the waves lapping the shoreline

the wild spray as the surf crashes on the rocks

the salt- I love what it does to my hair, and the way it tastes when I've accidentally gotten a mouthful of ocean

the vastness- I love to feel so small

the untamed, rugged, unpredictability 

the playfulness

the way it swallows up the giant ball of fire that is the sun

the sound of the seagulls that fly overhead

the warm, soft, gritty sand that covers me after a day at the beach
